Suresh Singh, President & CEO
Suresh Singh brings over 30 years of experience to ZincNyx Energy Solutions in the high-tech sector; managing mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures. He has participated in raising over $45M for projects ranging from concept to commercialization. Mr. Singh has held a variety of senior level positions in several high tech companies that designed and produced Point of Sale terminals, complex communication devices and USB extension devices.
Mr. Singh was President and CEO of Icron Technologies where he grew the company from concept and zero revenue to over $8MM in sales, which resulted in the stock price increasing from $0.14 to $2.59/share. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer at PCS Wireless where he was the key contributor in growing the company from 5 employees to 120 employees and from concept and zero revenue to over $100MM in revenue, resulting in the stock price increasing from $0.15 to $17.80/share. Before that, Mr. Singh was the Executive Vice President of Integra Systems Inc., where he participated in growing the company from concept to over $10MM in revenue. Integra Systems was the first company in Canada to develop and market the debit system terminals.
John McLeod, VP Engineering
Mr. McLeod is an Electrical Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in leading the development of successful commercial products derived from a wide range of core technologies. His product and project experience encompasses telecommunication systems, data processing systems and commercial building operations, among others. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.). He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of St. Andrews and an M.Sc. in Telecommunication Systems from the University of Essex.
Dr. Stuart Smedley, CTO
Dr. Smedley has a B.Sc., M.Sc. (Honours) and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry. He was a Professor of Physical Chemistry in New Zealand for 17 years, the Director of Electrochemistry at SRI International for 7 years and the Chief Technology Officer and VP of Technology Development at Metallic Power Inc. for 7 years. Dr. Smedley has authored 60 papers, two books and 17 Patents.
Dr. Smedley has an intimate knowledge of all aspects of ZincNyx’s Regenerative Fuel Cell technology.
Serge Drobatschewsky, VP Operations
Mr. Drobatschewsky has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Systems Management. He has held positions as VP of Operations, and VP of Quality Assurance in several high tech companies that designed and produced computer systems, tape drives, wide format color inkjet printers, and fuel cells.
He has extensive experience with new product introduction in high tech companies, as well as establishing worldwide manufacturing capabilities. He has been a significant contributor to the successful fast growth of several start-up or re-start-up high tech companies.
Rich Topham, CFO
Mr. Topham is a CA with over 20 years’ operational experience with a multitude of publicly traded and privately held companies. Following his articling tenure at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1992, he worked with two high tech companies’ for eight years before transitioning into a Consultant capacity. Mr Topham’s primary scope of expertise is assisting companies with month-to-month operations, strategic planning, budgeting, acquisition due diligence, financing due diligence, restructuring and regulatory compliance.
